About this Product
Handmade cat made using various types of reclaimed wood - none pressure-treated. Stained, and with craft wire inserted for naturalistic whiskers (ends may be sharp - use caution). These are not sealed, and are not recommended for outdoor display.
12 1/8" tall, approximately 6 1/4" wide (tail angle varies slightly). Depth will vary as they're made with found wood, but most often each piece is 1/2"-3/4" thick (1"-1.5" total cat depth).
Wood grain patterns will vary.
Stain opacity may vary some - please let me know if you have a preference in this regard!
The red-brown highly translucent stain shown is a set combination of stains. I can also use a similar stain in the wood shade of your choosing (maple, oak, mahogany, etc.). All other colors are done using a mixable stain, so if you have perfected on precise shade, please message me and I can mix something up for you and/or show you the base colors ?

Hello! I'm just a lady living in upstate NY, fulfilling a lifelong dream of creating beautiful, unique products with the help of my very supportive partner and his equipment. I'm also a lover of animals, nature, photography, cooking, and fantasty literature.
How it’s Made
We created templates which we trace onto wood, which is then cut using a band saw. The shapes are then sanded and tail is attached with wood glue. Next we stain (typically 2-3 cats, most often 3). We then use a dremel fitted with very small drill bits to drill holes for whiskers. The whiskers are glues in with CA glue and voila!
